In Asian countries, one can still find delicate tear vases used by mourners.
The tears shed into the little vases are considered sacred.
The tear bottles are kept and often buried with the person mourned.
Even if our tears are for ourselves, for our ache of loneliness, for our pain of loss,
they are still sacred, for they are tears of our love.
